SKY Ocean Ventures Accelerator
SKY Ocean Ventures aims to accelerate ideas which address the ocean plastics crisis by investing in and supporting innovative businesses and products.
The scheme focuses on solutions across the plastics lifecycle, including:
- Material innovation: Innovations across the entire plastics value chain, from material innovation to end-of-life
- Responsible consumption: Solutions that inspire responsible consumption by consumers and businesses, through technology
- Circular economy: Improvements in the recycling, clean-up and treatment of waste plastics, to create a more circular economy.
Funding rate:
Share of £25 million investment fund.
Deadline:
5 year investment period until 2022.
