Calling all tourism and hospitality businesses in Brighton and Hove!

According to Mintel’s UK Sustainability in Travel Market Report 2022, 75% of Britons want to do more to minimise their impact on the environment whilst travelling.

A solid approach to sustainability will also help you cut your energy costs and minimise waste.

This sustainability workshop is for any tourism or hospitality business in Brighton and Hove that wants to keep up with consumer trends, attract more customers, and cut their running costs.

During a full day of highly interactive, free training you’ll explore:

🌎 What net zero means for the tourism and hospitality sector.

🌎 How to measure your carbon footprint and identify where you can cut the most carbon and costs.

🌎 How to use Clean Growth UK’s free carbon calculator.

🌎 How to communicate your sustainability journey in your marketing.

🌎 Plenty of real-life tourism and hospitality examples.

You’ll come away with a carbon reduction plan that will help you cut costs, attract customers and employees, and future-proof your business.

About the trainers

Small99™ provides practical support, tools and local meetups to start 1 million small businesses on their path to net zero by 2025. The team helps small businesses to take positive action to reduce their carbon footprint to become more sustainable and profitable.

Clean Growth UK have been supporting businesses to innovate, get funding and decarbonise since 2014, and bring with them a wealth of local knowledge and expertise. A member of the team will join Small99 to co-facilitate the session.  

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It’s delivered in partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council and the University of Brighton’s Clean Growth UK team.
