Sustainable Plastic Packaging Grants
The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) has launched grant funding to establish the UK as a leading innovator in sustainable plastic packaging for consumer products.
These grants aim to facilitate innovative projects which reduce the UK plastic packaging system’s environmental impact, as well as delivering the objectives outlined by UK Plastics Pact.
Eligible projects must demonstrate innovation to embed circular approaches within the plastic packaging supply chain. This may focus on data-based solutions, sustainable packaging design or developing new end-of-life processes for packaging.
This funding competition is open to applications for single and collaborative projects involving start-up, SME and large businesses across the UK.
Funding rate:
Loans of between £50,000 and £150,000 are available for up to 70% of project costs.
Deadline:
The closing date for applications is 21 January 2021.
